Custom FX Screens are Available for FX Supporters
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If you would like a Custom FX Screen for your personal use or a Custom FX
Screen to distribute to your Users for your BBS I will consider making one
myself but I will have to ask for money...
I couldn't possibly promise to make screens for everyone that made a
request, but for a few bucks it will be possible for me to make screens
that can be used with this package or alone or on BBSs.
Simply include the Command Names you want to see on the Buttons (keep
them fairly short so they'll fit on the button) and what they must send
to the host system...
ex. login name, password, even a series of commands and Carraige Returns
can be "stacked" on a single button, the can even include a number of
"pop-up picklist" if there are a number of commands you would like to
include, but keep it within reason or send me some e-mail if what you want
is going to grow into something like a complex mud interface etc. etc.
Just include a discription of what you want on a separte page and send it
along with the FXSUPORT.DOC.
Customizing\Personalizing RIP Screens
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If you are a RIP artist (or know one) you can add your own Custom RIP
Screen to this button by placing it in your \RIPTERM\ICONS directory
and naming it CUSTOMFX.RIP. It won't be overwritten with updates or
deleted using the FX*.* wildcard either.
I've included it because I use a number of "Custom" screens for various
systems I log into and it would be a nice little extra for those who
might be able to use it.
Sysops could even create custom screens specific for their BBSs users
could download and use here...
The possiblities are virtually limitless... I use them for logins, passwords
changing terminal emulations, and a number of commands that get tedious to
type over and over in my lynux shell account...
It can even be used to create a GUI interface for internet MUDS so you don't
have to keep typing look, take, use, examine, etc. etc...
